Terrazzo

The airy Terrazzo pattern is inspired by traditional mosaic textures of the Italian summer. The design was sketched through a paper cutting technique, where the papery 'marble pieces' were sprinkled haphazardly on the canvas. The design’s inspiration and technology both combine the idea of gentle imperfection and the beauty of everyday things. 

The design was part of the PatternLab22 collection, with a record of nearly 100 sold designs during 2021–2022. Terrazzo was bought by Nanso and released in 2023.
